4.3.28 Breaks key combinations

I'm using 4.3.28 on Mac OSX. Windows XP host

I'm using Adobe software and we use the key combinations of ctrl+spacebar and then click (left mouse button) and drag the mouse to zoom. instead of zooming it brings up the menu of right click. I tried this on multiple computers and both exhibit this issue.

Is there a new preference that I'm missing?

Update: The update disables the spacebar once click and dragging commences. It does the same thing as right clicking or control clicking. The spacebar's effect is gone.
