Virtualbox was working fine until this morning. I had cleared out the cache and then rebooted my macbook. Then I tried to start my VM asusual but this time it complained about some missing kernels. I checked the forums and found out that uninstalling the virtualbox and reinstalling it will fix it. So, I uninstalled the current version and tried to install Virtualbox software on my macbook but it keeps failing. The error says " The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance". Can anybody help me with this? Have anyone of you encountered the same problem before?
Macbook OS: OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.3
Virtualbox version: 4.3.26 (this is the one that I am trying to install)
Strange thing is that it won't allow any of the versions of virtualbox, not even the older ones!! Any help will be greatly appreciated..
