USB Devices on Mac OSX

USB Devices on Mac OSX

Hi,
I have installed everything correctly (GuestAddction included) and I can see the shared folders but no usb devices... not pen drives, nor others (e.g..: printers, scanners, etc...)

Hi,
I correct myself...

1. I tried to mount an USB3 Device... not working by VirtualBox specs! Beg your pardon...
2. I tried to mount an USB HID device... the Device/Port/USB once I added the filter says "Status: unsupported"...

I installed virtual box because I usually use a Mac and to configure some special alarm system I have to use a windows setup tool connecting the device to USB...

It is a pity... I will go out with my windows portable...

Is there a driver or software that has to be installed in order to use the device in question? If so, you could try installing them in the guest.
