Hi,
Before I upgraded to VB-4.3.22 the logon screen of OL5 was full screen
after upgrading, the logon screen won't go full.
I've done a full uninstall.tool on VB and a full fresh install of OL5 and
installed the Guest Additions as described in the manual but with no
luck.
Is there something I am missing or does this sound like a bug?
TIA.

Please attach the vbox.log (compressed) for the guest.

Re: Oracle Linux 5 Logon screen won't display full screen
If you mean only the login screen doesn't open in full screen, I have many Linux guests and some of the login screens open in full screen and some don't. As to why yours changed I can't say. If the desktop doesn't open in full screen that usually means the guest additions didn't install correctly.
Since you are on a Retina MacBookPro, Host+F should actually open at half the screen size unless you are using scaling for your Mac display or a third-party app.

Re: Oracle Linux 5 Logon screen won't display full screen
Thanks for reply LKJr,
Everything else is fine, users accounts open in what ever max-res
is available but just not the login screen that used to before.
When I ran the xrandr command (or wut ever it is), I get the
usual max-res, but in the System -> Display it says 640x480
with VBox drivers.
It's just one of those things that you don't need to start changing
before you start reloading multiple SW layers. Grrrrrrr.
Reverting back to 4.3.20 and then to 4.3.18 to see where the
problems started. Let know wut happens...
Thanks for help.

Re: Oracle Linux 5 Logon screen won't display full screen
Well this was an interesting weekend!
Anyway, going back one version to 4.3.20
seems to have done the trick. Might do a
bug report.
