Spaces / Host Hotkeys

Post by TheAngryPenguin »

Being on a MacBook, it is desirable to run my VMs in fullscreen. Additionally, I prefer to run my VMs in their own designated Space(s). Unfortunately, I cannot currently do this as VB does not honor the OS X's hotkey combination that would normally switch from one space to another. Is there something that I am missing here, or is this currently not possible? The lack of being able to switch to and from my VM space is a definite show-stopper.

The keys are exclusively binded to the guest if the vm window get the focus. You can press HOST-KEY (default: apple-key) to uncapture the keyboard from the vm. After that spaces should work as expected. You see whether the keyboard is captured or not through the little symbolic key with an arrow in the statusbar.
