disk partition

Post by drlehnig »

I just installed virtualbox and had no problem getting windows running however on the initial install of vb I partitioned the disk and vb did not like the partition for whatever reason so I made a second partition and every thing went smoothly. My question is how can identify and erase the first partition it doesn't seem to show up on mac disk utility and I would like to get that 10gb back?

If you mean that you created a VirtualDisk you no longer need, you probably will find it in the Virtual Disk Manager. You can get there through the menu: "File->Virtual Disk Manager". You should see your VDI-File in the "Hard Disks"-List. You can delete it using the "Remove" button. Maybe you will have to "Release" it first.
