No bootable medium found

Post by MarkJohnson »

I tried search, but couldn't find my particular situation.

I have OS X 10.8.3 and I'm trying to make a windows 7 Professional x64 VM for installing and playing SimCity until the Mac version is released (It was delayed until August).

Anyway, I have installed VirtualBox and when I select NEW to create a new virtual machine, it goes through the steps of which os, virtual hard drive setup, etc. It seems to go fine until I startup and it asks for booting medium. I have the win 8 pro x64 ISO and it won't let me change folders to access it. I even copied it to the users/mark/library/virtualbox after allowing show all hidden files. I can see the iso, it even lets me select it, but it won't let me continue?

Not sure why it won't let me continue. Is there a setup option I'm missing?

My machine specs are:
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP5 TH, i3-1230, 8GB (2 x 4GB) ram (samsung), eVGA GTX 650 video card, and OS X 10.8.3

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
