[SOLVED] Mac, 2 Xeon 2 cores ea, windows(guest) sees 1 CPU 1

Post by mmendez534 »

Hi,

I just installed the latest beta for Mac OSX. Windows XP installs fine, except the windows only recognizes 1 core on 1 CPU, where as the hardware is 2 cores on each of 2 CPUs (Intel Xeon 5150). Searched but could not find anything on google or here.

Thanks
Manny

This is normal. The virtualized hardware is only one CPU with one core.
