As IKEA HOMEplanner software (downloadable from their site), is only written for M$ ystems, I tried to install it on (a clean) XP (with all the pathes applied) via Virtualbox (for OSX), version 1.4.1-beta2.
The sw crashes badly and IKEA just says "HP is not supported on Apple, in any form". (de)Bugger. They claim it is stable on M$.
Sometimes the prog just quits, while starting. Sometimes it crashes when I try to place something in the just defined room and sometimes I receive an error about a problem with the database.
But maybe the problem resides on the VirtualBox side, so if someone has Homeplanner running, I'd like to know how, or maybe someone is willing to sort this out.
Thanks.
Telly
