where can I d/l a version that is capable of hosting windows

Post by tzury »

The current beta [3] is incapable of hosting windows and the previous versions are not available on the site (since downloads moved to sun.com servers).

can someone supply a link to a previous binary version for mac os-x that is capable of hosting windows?

I use 10,4 and vb beta3. I install without problem win2000 on it. The only drawback for now it's just for try since no network yet to access mac or external firewired drive.

Hoping a new release soon...

I installed Vista SP1 and Server 2008 on VBox Beta 3 recently and I had no problems at all with it. When you say it cannot "host Windows" what do you mean?
