Hi all
I am trying to convert a native Windows 7 installation to a virtual disk image. Currently, I am able to boot the bootcamp installation from virtual box by using redirected VDI file, but would like to move completely to the virtual method. My problem is that I do not want to write a large VDI file as my bootcamp partition is currently set at 700 GB. Is there a way to create a VDI image so that only the used space is copied to the virtual disk image.

Re: Convert Bootcamp raw partition to Virtual Disk image
Run Windows in bootcamp. Inside it run Disk2VHD, writing the result to a USB drive. Convert the VHD to VDI before use.
