I have download the x86 Solaris Express Developer Edition DVD iso (sol-nv-b79b-x86-dvd.iso) from opensolaris.org.
When attempting to boot a new Solaris virtual box from this iso, I get the following error message:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
....... Booting 'Solaris Express Developer Edition'
kernel /boot/platform/i86pc/kernel/unix -B install_media=cdrom,soldevx=true [Multiboot-elf, <0xc00000:0xfa14:0x0>, <0x400000:0xb7b30:0x0>, <0x800000:0x76c:0x3ab28>, shtab=0xc10398, entry=0xc00000]
module /boot/x86.miniroot
Error 3: Bad or corrupt data while decrompressing file

I have verified that the MD5 sum of the iso is the same as reported on the Solaris download page: 4f3f50e305cc44d93f4510085a58cf67
Same symptom when booting from a burned DVD.
