USB- VERR Sharing Error XP Guest w/ Leopard Host

I have searched all over the forum for a way to use USB with Leopard Host and XP guest... any advice?

I got the same problem:
downloaded the latest version of virtualbox and can't connect any usb-item.
Installing the usb-controller results in:
verr_sharing_violation.

Would appreciate any help,

Same problem here as well. Leopard host and Ubuntu guest. Neither shared folders nor USB drive mounting works, so I pretty much have no way of copying data locally between the host and guest.

How would you get them copied? On CD-ROM? This is the only connection I can see now.
