Problem with mounting USB Device

Post by John_Sr »

I'm trying to mount a USB device, an IrDA adapter. Virtualbox finds the vendor-id and the product-id, but when trying to mount V-box returns:
-----------
Faild to connect to USB-device Okänd enhet 9710:7780 [0001] to the virtuel machine Windows.

USB device '<unknown>' with UUID {a85c2519-77e7-404d-8524-11c413180d16} is in use by someone else.

Resultatkod: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Komponent: HostUSBDevice
Gränssnitt: IHostUSBDevice {173b4b44-d268-4334-a00d-b6521c9a740a}
Anropare: IConsole {1968b7d3-e3bf-4ceb-99e0-cb7c913317bb}
-------------
Host Mac OS X, Snow Leopard
Machine: Windows 7

I understand the there is a conflict somewhere but can't figure out where to solve it....
Suggestions are most welcome

Try releasing it from the MAC host before you attach it to the guest.
