Dear all,
I'm pretty desperate because I have only 3 days left to decide whether I keep my new mac or give it back. And it depends on this problem:
I do have a VirtualBox running with a Windows 7 guest. Some software inside plays some audio and some other software has to process or record the same audio from the corresponding input. Because the Windows audio driver inside VirtualBox is not able to loop the audio outback back to another input (e.g. "StereoMix" or "WhatYouHear") I thought I'd try it with JackOSX.
Basically JackOSX is running fine on the Mac. I can lead the output from an OSX app to VirtualBox and process it there. I also can catch the VirtualBox audio output and process it on the Mac side. But I never have been able to connect the VirtualBox ports because they never appear in the router window at the same time. Not even if I start a player and a recorder inside the VirtualBox. Depending on what is loaded first only the input or output port seems to be available for JackOsX.
I'd be more than happy if someone has some kind of idea how to proceed.
Thank you very much from Germany and have a nice weekend
Thomas
P.S. JackOSX is some kind of a comfortable virtual audio cable for Mac OSX.
