Having troubles installing Ubuntu 7.10

Post by thedrew87 »

I have a Macbook Pro and I when I try to install Ubuntu 7.10 using VirtualBox I would get a blank screen then it would freeze up. Does anyone know how to install Ubuntu 7.10 on VirutalBox.

Thank you

The MacOS version is kind of outdated. We are working on an update.

I have recently installed Ubuntu 7.1 on my iMac. It wasn't a smooth process by any means, but that may have been my fault as I moved VBox after installation. If you've done that, then I would advise re-installation and try again. It definitely can be done. I had it up & running, but I had to trash it as I wanted to re-install 'cause I couldn't get Win2k to install. After a re-install - it did.
