I'm running Fusion on my Mac to run a VM of WinXP. Want to migrate to VB. Found these two blog posts:
http://blogs.sun.com/fatbloke/entry/mov ... ware_vm_to
http://blogs.sun.com/fatbloke/entry/mig ... virtualbox
Gonna try their methodology and migrate. Wanted to see of anyone else has tried this and see what the results were.
Thx

Re: Migrating a VM from Fusion to VB
For a Windows Virtual Machine:
- After removing VMware Tools, another option is Disk2vhd at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysi ... 56415.aspx
- Disk2vhd produces .VHD file (Virtual PC) that VBox will run. When satisfied that the migration is as desired, use CloneVDI.EXE (VBox forums), as packaged by WineBottler at http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/ to be OS X program, to 'convert' to .vdi file
