Shared Folders on Mac OS X

Could anyone please clarify, whether shared folders on Mac OS X Tiger will work!
I am playing around for a while and I see the share in WinXP (Guest) but when I try to open it, it says "Network name not found".

Do I have an VirtualBox problem or a MacOS rights problem?

Did you assign a drive-letter to your shared folders? It seems to be a WinXP-problem. Open your working area (Arbeitsplatz), open the properties of Network-Environment (Netzwerkumgebung), assign letters to the folders by following the steps of XP.

No I can not try this because I switched to Leopard and Virtualbox is not running on Leopard. Going with Q in the meantime.
