Window size adjustment

Postby ipina » 23. Sep 2007, 16:19

Hi, my machine is an iMac Intel core 2 duo 24". I installed VirtualBox last version and as guest OS Linux Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty) for i386 processors (I had some problems with the x64 version), 10 GB hard disk and 512 MB RAM. All is running ok, congratulations to developpers, except the window size adjustment. I've installed guest additions and the autoresize guest display checked; however, my display size doesn't change even in full screen mode - in which case my display is, say, 160x90, and the rest appears in black - Any suggestion in order to get a window size different from the assigned by installation? Thanks in advance.

There is this problem I noticed in VBox and Parallels while running Ubuntu.

See ... -for-os-x/

Only problem is that once you do this, you can't switch to a size smaller than full-screen resolution, so choose now which you want to use. And back up the virtual hard drive file before doing this, because there might be problems.
