Mac OSX 10.5.7
VB 2.2.2
Guest OS - FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE 64bit, making a 64bit system.
FreeBSD installs fine, but when I run a #portsnap fetch extract, it fetches.. and starts extracting and then after a while ad0 detaches, and it kernel panics.
any ideas on how to resolve this?
Thanks

Re: FreeBSD Guest kernel panics
I have reinstalled with FreeBSD-7.0-RELASE i386 (only i386 image I had).
It worked for a lot longer this time, but I was compiling some applications (openldap-server_ from ports as I wish to do some testing and it failed again.
any ideas on this? very frustrating.
