Clipboard Not Working for Pictures

Post by bondrk »

Is it me (and insufficient knowledge of Windows XP) or what? I don't seem to be able to cut and paste photos from my Mac OS X clipboard onto Windows XP. My setup does show "bidirectional," but this feature is not working either direction for photos (it does work for text). I am using VirtualBox 2.2.2 and have Guest Additions installed (the latter after some forum help). Thanks for whatever inspiration you can provide. Roger

File copy is not supported only Clipboard. If you could copy the file to the clipboard it would work, but a file copy/paste does not go to the clipboard.
If you want to be able to do file copy between host and guest you would need to share a folder and then copy and paste will work as long as it is going to a shared device, like a shared drive.
