Is there some important step I'm missing? Does it not work with the Mac version of VPC?

How do I import from Virtual PC 7 for Mac?
I downloaded VB 2.2.2 the other day, once I heard it could use VPC files. The problem is, it doesn't seem to recognize the file when I try to import it in the Virtual Media Manager, whether or not I'm trying to do it when making a new guest. Giving it the *'.vpc7 file gives me an error telling me it's a directory. Pulling the Disk1.vhdp from the *.vpc7 package contents and trying to use it gives me the same error. Pulling the BaseDrive.vhd from the *.vhdp package and using that gives me an error saying "VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED." I checked for any other way to import the file from in VirtualBox, just in case. The only thing I found that resembled one was the 'import appliance' option. (Admittedly, I don't know what an 'appliance' is in relation to a virtual machine, but I thought I'd try it just in case.) I got stuck on the step where it asks for a file that 'describes' the appliance.
Is there some important step I'm missing? Does it not work with the Mac version of VPC?
Help, please.

Re: How do I import from Virtual PC 7 for Mac?
I've read two obligations for making VB to run vhdp files:
You must install WS XP on a fixed partition (use the assistant for partitioning of VPC).
The additions of vpc7 must be uninstalled for this machine.
... that's what i've read, and i've not tested yet. But i'm creating my fixed partition right now.
P.S.: It's weird it"s the only post about vhd files for mac.
