Different Size of HD - problem

Hi, I have Leopard OS , VB 2.1.4 with windows 7 installed.
I gave my virtual HD 13Gb of space , in mac os and in different programs inside the windows I see that I have 3 GB free space (inside windows I see it when I'm trying to install SolidWorks) but when I'm looking directly from "my computer" , folder by folder ... I count only 8GB used...
Why is that? what can I do besides reinstalling windows and define new bigger HD?
