Hi,
Wonder if anyone could help...
I got a VM produced by VMWare under MS Windows (the Guest OS is Windows 2003). Here is the list of split files.
w2k3ee.vmdk
w2k3ee-s001.vmdk
w2k3ee-s002.vmdk
...
w2k3ee-s016.vmdk
w2k3ee-000001.vmdk
w2k3ee-000001-s001.vmdk
w2k3ee-000001-s002.vmdk
...
w2k3ee-000001-s016.vmdk
and some other files. I guess it contains a snapshot as there is a file w2k3ee-Snapshot1.vmem
I added w2k3ee.vmdk and w2k3ee-000001.vmdk with VBox disk manager. And, tried to create a VBox entry with either vmdk or both (tried IDE master/slave). However, VBox only cannot start the Guest OS and just a black screen shown without any activities.
Should I first install VMWare Fusion and then remove the snapshot and then using some tools (???) to make the split vmdk to a single vmdk. But how about w2k3ee-000001.vmdk? Because I am familiar with VMWare and no idea of the (so many) split files...
Wonder if the 30-days trial VMWare Fusion can do what I want??
Sorry, may I have higher helping hands?
Thanks.
