Hello!

Sorry if this is off topic or a generally silly question.

Before when i used windows host and ubuntu guest I could use the middle button on the mouse for pasting text . This is bery useful in Linux as u may know.
Now I'm using OS X host and Ubuntu guest, but this button don't work at all. Did anyone get it to work?

thanks!

Best I can offer is hope: it works fine on my Debian Lenny install with no fussing at all. My shot-in-the-dark guess is ubuntu made a wrong decision in the xorg.conf and you may need to add an InputDevice section for the mouse.

What's your middle button configured as under OS X? If you go to the "Keyboard & Mouse" System Preferences pane, make sure that the middle button is assigned to "Button 3." I suspect that your issue is that the Mac OS isn't sending the third button to VirtualBox since it isn't configured.
