Changing disk types

While the manual discusses how to command line change the type to "write-through" (so the snapshot skips the disk), I am a GUI MAC user.... Is it possible to change the type via the VirtualBox control GUI?

I'm trying to create a "standard" XP install, take a snapshot, and then be able to revert (to the baseline install) to reinstall applications as needed. However, I'd like a native disk to keep data that I may create/download.
