Move virtual machine

HI,
i wanna create a virtual machine (xp) on my mac, and after i wanna save it into a external hard disk, becouse when my machine is dirty i put it in the trash and i take the saved one instead recreate a new machine. like parallel desktop.
but when i look into =/user/library what folder i should take?
