How to change the display resolution on Mac Book pro

Hi, with Ubuntu Intrepid, how to change the resolution on a Mac Book pro. My resolution have to be 1440x900. My current display occupies only a part of the screen with two black squares on each side.

Make sure that before you make any changes to the ubuntu environment that you have the "vbox_additions" installed, this exposes the underlying hardware to ubuntu.

One the additions are installed just go to the top menu-->system-->preferences-->screen resolution and set the resolution you want.

Hi, I did that, but i cannot define a resolution higher than 1360x768. with 60 Hz
