Postby Midiweb » 12. Feb 2009, 00:38

Hi, with Ubuntu Intrepid, how to change the resolution on a Mac Book pro. My resolution have to be 1440x900. My current display occupies only a part of the screen with two black squares on each side.

Cheers

Ubuntu Screen Resolution

Make sure that before you make any changes to the ubuntu environment that you have the "vbox_additions" installed, this exposes the underlying hardware to ubuntu.

One the additions are installed just go to the top menu-->system-->preferences-->screen resolution and set the resolution you want.

Good luck!
