VMs and Authoxy

Hi, folks!
I am running VirtualBox 2.1 on OSX 10.5.
I would like to configure my Ubuntu VM to use the Authoxy instance running on the host to authenticate on the web proxy instead of doing it directly. Has anyone already did it? How should I proceed?
