Problem when reinstalling VBox

Because of a problem with my guest XP on my Max OS X 10.5.5 host I removed VBox instead of uninstalling it. Now, when I try uninstalling it, I get the message:

How do I quit these processes, please?

I simply shut down my Mac - DUH!
