VirtualBox currently does not work right with bootcamp partitions or I should say, a bootcamp partition cannot currently be configured correctly in VirtualBox. See http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=9223 , http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=10378 and http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=9811 concerning this problem. What I have done in the meantime is to install WinXP in a regular VirtualBox Virtual partition.
