How to use the serial port com 1

hi there,
I use VB 2.04 under Mac OS 10.4.11.
Windows XP is my guest system.
For operating my telephone system I need this serial port com1.
There 2 option: Host-pipe and Host-port.

What can I do, that windows recognize the com1 port.
So what I have to write down in the port-url-window?

Any ideas?
