For some reason, Updates for Windows Guest under OS X fails.
Even trying to do updates for MS Office fails too.
Is there something special I should do to get this to work?
TIA

unable to do updates on Windows Guest
Re: unable to do updates on Windows Guest
If You set up networking properly for the Windows guest and Office, updates should work out of the box as expected when "Genuine Microsoft Software " is used. No special tricks needed.kerryp24 wrote:For some reason, Updates for Windows Guest under OS X fails.

Note: Depending on the software versions You use You may have to activate Your MS-Software first in order to be entitled for updates.

Both XP and Office are legal licensed copies.
Perhaps I should explain...
I get connected to the update site.
I select what I want to update.
I say install.
All selected files SAY they are downloading.
BUT... when it actually goes to install...
ALL downloaded files fail to install.
So... obviously, it is legal/genuine software I'm using...
And networking is setup and working properly.
The downloads just won't install!!!
Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
