GM - I am attempting to build a Win11 VM on my Intel Mac Air. Should that be possible (my Mac Air is ~2018 Retina)?
I tried with the default settings for the VM and it boots up into the EFI bios program. If I turn off the Enable EFI then it boots me into the Win11 installer which then informs me that my host doesn't have the features to support Win 11.
I'm running Monterey (I was on Ventura but had to rebuild because 13.3 totally blew out my video performance on my Mac Air) and wondering:
is the machine capable of running Win 11?
What settings / things do I need to do to get the Win 11 installer to feel it is suitable?
Any advice is welcome since I am stuck at this point...
Thank you.

Re: Guru meditation with macOS Ventura 13.3
I believe that Windows 11 requires EFI.
In the EFI BIOS program, type the command exit and a black-on-gray boot menu will appear, where you can pick the Windows 11 ISO to boot from.
