Thank you Granada 29.
I tried to reinstall old versions, but the problem persist. Tomorrow I tried with version 6.38 or oldest.

If you are having problems running VirtualBox 6.1.x then it would be good idea to post a session log.Nettuno76 wrote: I tried to reinstall old versions, but the problem persist. ...
- Start your VM with a clean start - i.e. not a 'saved' image
- Shutdown the VM cleanly if possible.
- Right click the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select Show in Finder in the popup menu.
- Open the Logs folder.
- Right-click VBox.log and select Compress
- Attach the .zip file to a new post.

I Granada 29,
thank you very much for your help.
I installed the 6.40 version, but the problem is the same, windows 10 start, but the first screen is "preparation to recovery" that fails.
In attachment you can find the Log compressed.
Thank you a lot!

Re: Virtualbox 7.06 killed Windows 10 guest machine (Catalina)
I would increase VM graphics RAM to something reasonable, e.g. 128MB.
The failure seems to happen inside the guest - the host simply reports the condition.
AFAICS the Guest Additions are not installed, so it can't be an incompatibility there. Lets see what increasing the graphics RAM does.

If you disabled the Hyper-v API support then the guest would still reset.00:05:18.581616 GIM: HyperV: Guest indicates a fatal condition! P0=0x7e P1=0xffffffffc0000005 P2=0xfffff80643bc571c P3=0xffff840ba0006138 P4=0xffffb201dffc7920

Re: Virtualbox 7.06 killed Windows 10 guest machine (Catalina)
Many thanks mpacks!
I'm only a normal user of virtualbox, I don't know how to procede for resolving the problem. I'm going to find a copy of virtual machine in my backup, I think is the only way to resolve the problem without spending a lot of time.
I don't know if it's possible restore Windows 10 from a usb driver.
I'll write you, if I'll resolve the problem.
Thanks

Hi! I'm having the exact same issue on a guest with Windows Server 2019. Did you find a fix to this?
