Indeed, that's my question. Let's forget about the RAM for now. I can always adjust it later should the VM start.

FWIW @scottgus1 posted an answer that Ventura + more recent Mac OS X versions don't run yet in VirtualBox, even on Apple hardware.
I'll switch strategy and will try to make Mojave run (last 32-bits compatible version). Some sowftware I use don't have a 64 bit version. An additional complexity will arise since I intend to patch Sonoma to be installed on a physical machine that doesn't officially support it.
