Hi,
I just upgraded to Ventura 13.2.1 Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems VirtualBox 6.xxx which I was using is not compatible with Ventura?
Anyway I got an error when I tried to open the VM.
So I upgraded to 7.0.4. Now the VM does open fine.
However, I have some hardware connected through USB that used to work but now doesn't.
Is there some known issue, or something I should try to get the USB hardware connection working?
I believe I have the correct guest extensions version installed.
Thanks,
Mike

Correct. You have to run 7.0 on Ventura.MikeCyber wrote:I just upgraded to Ventura 13.2.1 Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems VirtualBox 6.xxx which I was using is not compatible with Ventura?
7.0 on Ventura is still getting bugs and Apple's new restrictions fixed. You temporarily have to run Virtualbox under 'sudo' to get USB.MikeCyber wrote:I upgraded to 7.0.4. ... I have some hardware connected through USB that used to work but now doesn't.
Re: Issue with USB on Ventura
Great, thanks, that sounds like the solution.
How do I run VirtualBox through sudo on a Mac by the way?

I did manage to run VB under sudo. I'm still having USB connectivity issues. Is there something else I also need to do?
Thanks,
