Hi there. VirtualBox has slowed down my macOS to the point where I can barely work off of it. I need VirtualBox to access a Microsoft product that is only compatible with Windows.
I'm using a MacBook Pro with the following specs:
Processor: 2.3 Ghz Dual-Core Intel Core i5
Memory: 8GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
Startup Disk: Macintosh HD
Graphics: Intel Iris plus graphics 640 1536MB
I have 24.13GB left of space after the Windows 10 and VBox installation including all my other files/software.
Is there any advice on how I can speed up my computer while keeping VirtualBox?

Re: Speeding up host and VirtualBox
I'm afraid that a 2 core i5 with only 8GB RAM (2.2GB available) will never make the ideal platform in which to run two 64bit OSs at the same time.
However, the Windows guest will run somewhat better if you give it 2 cores.
You should also install the Guest Additions and enable 3D graphics acceleration if your hardware supports it.
Looking at your history, I assume this was your old PC, from before you got yourself an M1 Mac.
