VirtualBox Failed To Import Appliance ova File Mac

Post by YoavShkedy »

I have a file named "centos6_B.ova" which I would like to open with VirtualBox. However, when I try to I get this 'Failed to import appliance' error attached below.

The content of the ova file is:
375360d0c0af21beb94187caf5f627df *centos6_B.ova

I have searched for a solution but couldn't find one to solve my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unexpected EOS (End Of Stream) mean that the OVA has been truncated, perhaps by being transported on a USB flash drive that doesn't support large files (i.e. a FAT32 formatted flash drive).

The only fix is an OVA that hasn't been corrupted in that (or any other) way.

Sometimes the download is corrupted at source: an MD5 or SHAx checksum will tell you if your copy of the file matches the one on the download server.
