:Solved: Clipboard & Drag n Drop

Post by loukingjr »

Back again. :)

I can't get the bidirectional clipboard or drag n drop working on Monterey 12.5 running VB 6.1.36. Maybe I've been away too long.

I guess I should mention the guest. lol

Linux Mint 20 something.

Welcome back, Lou! Long time no see!

I'll wager you have Guest Additions running in the VM. Can you please post a zipped VM log per the usual method?

Well, for what it's worth, drag n drop and the clipboard are now working.

Many times, my family's computers and appliances have glitches, until I come in and look at them. Then they start working. My boss's computer used to do the same thing. It's enough to start making me superstitious.

If DnD and clipboard are up now, then GAs should be good. Sounds like a service, perhaps in the GAs, seized up. DnD has frozen VMs completely in my experience.

There was mention of some DMARC certification for forum emails that might be interfering: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=106499 No idea if that's the cause.
