Host: 2019 MacBook Pro with Monterey
Guest: Kali Linux 2022.2
I am trying to make my virtual machine accessible to my local network so other devices can access my apache server. I have already successfully configured a host-only adapter.
Currently when I boot the vm with a bridged adapter and run "ifconfig" I am only shown an ipv6 adress and no internet connection. I have played around with different adapter types, looked at router settings, and searched the internet for other solutions with no success.
As I understand it might have something to do with updating the /etc/networking/interfaces files but I am not sure how to proceed. Might anyone be able to help?
Thank you.
