I downloaded Windows 10:
Win10_21H2_EnglishInternational_x64.iso
from the Microsoft web-site.
But when I reached the stage of having to select a Windows iso, the iso that I downloaded was greyed out, and so I was unable to select it.
So I then Itried something else.
I mounted the iso.
It had the name CCCOMA_X64FRE_EN-GB_DV9.
I selected the opened iso.
But that was also greyed out.
Anyone know how to overcome this problem?

Check to see if the ISO downloaded properly, or if Mac OS has some kind of permission that has to be enabled to allow you to use a file downloaded from the internet.
Also, try clicking the VM's Optical Drive in the Storage settings, and try to select the ISO from there.

If you did this in the host OS, you might have to unmount it to use it in Virtualbox.Sheer-Gold wrote:I mounted the iso.
