Hi guys,
I'm curious if you want to port/rewrite vGPU (virtual gpu that is indeed targeted for hardware rendering) to Metal - or Vulkan, thus in future you can use MoltenVK without hassle?
I know that the whole thing is little end-of-life now because of m1 cpus and because virtualbox will never work on them, but maybe...
Thanks for answer in advance.

Re: Port vGPU engine to Metal
VirtualBox is a cross platform app, so I'd be surprised to see the devs target a proprietary graphics API (Metal). Vulkan might stand a chance, but only if it offers a significant benefit to someone who already has a substantial OpenGL code base.
Btw, these are user to user discussion forums. We are not the developers, we have no knowledge of their plans. Like everyone else we find out about new features when they are implemented. But we can make guesses.
