Storage issue after uninstall virtual box

Post by BeginnerOfvb »

Hi guys,

I installed virtual box for one easy job, and after that, when I uninstalled it the storage manager sad to me "you have almost full storage". On this picture you can see, almost 120GB of others files, but I dont see it them anymore. I think its probably issue with .vid files, but I deleted them already. I dont have time and nerves for reinstallation MacOS. Pleas send me some tips :(

Topic moved to "OS X Hosts".

Uninstalling software does not eliminate your data files - no software I know of does that. You need to delete your data yourself. I'm not a Mac user, but I believe on MacOS hosts your VMs are typically stored in subfolders of $HOME/<user>/VirtualBox VMs.
