VB 6.1.28 on OS 10.15
Re: VB 6.1.28 on OS 10.15
For whatever reason, the install was just not happening cleanly - go figure, this is a bone stock iMac I inherited from my dad when he upgraded, I need to have a use for it, and self teaching seems to be a good fit.
The end fix was leaving all alone as it installed, and removing the guest from VB (unresponsive/corrupt), and reinitializing - that after removing EVERYTHING that had to do with VBox and starting over.
