Hi Team,

I am getting this error while trying to install RHEL ISO & initiate installation. Please advise.

Host OS: MacOS 11.1

Start the VM from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the VM from within the VM's OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.

Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip it, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

Your VM is using the "Linux_64" VM template, whereas a Red Hat VM has its own "Red Hat" template.

Also 512MB RAM may be too little for Red Hat 8, based on a quick Google. Try 2GB. Your host had 2.5GB available at the time of the run, so it could squeeze in. Or close a couple host programs.

The VM might also enjoy 2 processors.
