Yep, no fix for non-SSH. Guest Additions Shared Clipboard needs a clipboard to share with. And text-only OS's typically don't have a clipboard of the type Guest Additions use.

Well, if you only need to copy and paste inside the guest OS, you could use a terminal multiplexer like screen or tmux, which have their own clipboards. But there is no connection to the VirtualBox Clipboard functionality then.
