I migrated everything from my old MacBook Air to a new one. When I try to start up Windows on the new one I get the error messages in the attached screenshots. Also, Windows will not open in the old one either.
Help is appreciated.

Re: Data migration to new MacBook....Windows won't open in Virtual Box
A couple of ideas:
install on Mac
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=100696&p=500259#p500103
Mac install issues:
exit code 1
Try MultiOS's suggestion here: viewtopic.php?f=22&p=481332#p481332

None of that worked.
I discovered this message (see screenshot). When I try to disable it there's no option to save it.

That particular message is either because VT-x is not enabled in your computer's BIOS or something is using VT-x on your Mac and won't let Virtualbox use it. See I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests

Re: Data migration to new MacBook....Windows won't open in Virtual Box
@monkeyguy,
This seems a strange problem as, as far as I know, there is no 'normal' way or reason to disable hardware acceleration (VT-x) in Intel-based Macs Just in case of confusion; and as your opening question says you are trying to move to a 'new' MacBook Air, can you confirm that your Air Laptop does have an Intel Processor and is not one of the more recently released Apple M1-based models, which aren't able to run VirtualBox software successfully?
