Windows XP fails to boot when USB 2.0 enabled

Post by RonPinkas »

Hi,

VB 2.0.2
Host: OS/X 10.5.5
Guest XP SP-3 (all patches)

Windows fails to boot if I enable USB 2.0 support. The XP logo screen shows, and the left-to-right-toleft, blue progress bar runs few times and then freezes.

If I choose SAFE MODE or SAFEMODE with NETWORK, it does boot succesfuly!

FWIW, same was true with VB 1.6.2 and OS/Z 10.4.*

I'm available to help with debugging this problem, and will hapily provide any additional info needed.

Thanks in advance,

Ron Pinkas
